About Me

A human brain is a crazy place, and there are two things that have always fascinated me the most – finance and computer programming.

Early Beginnings

Ever since I was a kid, I've been drawn to the world of ideas, constantly learning new things online and trying to apply them in the real world. I still remember sitting in front of an old PC, learning to write code, designing graphics, blogging, and experimenting with anything that sparked my curiosity.

That early phase taught me something important about myself: I love learning, analyzing, and translating abstract ideas into practical, real-life scenarios.

Academic Foundation

This passion for learning carried me through my academic journey and helped me clear the Chartered Accountancy exam at the age of 20, which opened the door to my deep interest in finance. Since then, I've been committed to building a strong intellectual foundation in the field—enhanced further by passing CFA Level 1 and diving into the world of sustainable finance and climate risk.

Professional Journey

Professionally, I began in tax, audit, and regulatory roles, with a specialization in corporate tax and tax litigation. But my journey has never been just linear.

As Editorial Head at CAclubindia.com - India's largest finance community - I explored the world of content and community. I led a young team, authored deep-dive pieces on finance, economics, and taxation, and built meaningful connections with professionals across the industry. That role taught me the power of asking the right questions, and introduced me to the transformative potential of data analytics.

Current Focus: Sustainability & Climate Finance

Over time, this curiosity evolved into a strong focus on sustainability, ESG, and climate finance. I now work on developing climate risk assessment frameworks, integrating SFDR, TCFD, and ISSB requirements, and tailoring them to the Indian regulatory and socio-economic context.

I've been hands-on with climate risk scenario tools (like IEA and IPCC), NetCDF datasets—bringing together my love for coding, finance, and systemic problem-solving.

I've always sought roles that let me lead with accountability, dive deep with second-order thinking, and create real-world impact—whether it's stress testing climate risks for financial institutions, or developing ESG-aligned investment strategies.

Beyond Work

Outside of work, I'm an avid reader—typically reading 30–40 books a year across disciplines. And when I can, I take out my camera and explore the landscapes of this incredibly diverse and beautiful country.
